When your best friend from 1st grade calls you up out of the blue after years and years and asks you to shoot her wedding and engagement portraits you don’t even think about saying no. Even if that friend doesn’t live on the same continent as you. It all seemed like a dream at first. We joked about them flying us to Germany where they live to do their engagement shots and then all of a sudden we were buying plane tickets and trying to figure out which European country we wanted to spend a week in. Sometimes when you ask for something, you really do get it.
