Another year has come to a close, and it’s time to take a look back and reflect on where our cameras have taken us over the past twelve months. It’s been quite a journey. We’ve gotten to meet so many great people and share in so many couples’ joys, dreams, excitement, creativity and spirit. I’ve gotten to experience my own growth and development as a photographer. I’ve honed my eye, my skills (though I’m still no Ansel Adams) and my vision and contemplated what shooting weddings is all about. I’ve been inspired by my wonderful partner Dylan and at the same time tried to keep true to my own personal vision as an artist. But most of all, through everything we’ve done, we’ve looked out at the world in search of beauty together.
Here is my story. For me theses images capture the spirit of each of these very different, unique and beautiful events for reasons I can’t always explain. The people, the places, the items they chose to embellish their day, the smiles, the small moments and the big ones. A big thank you to all of these couples who invited us to celebrate with them and help them remember their wedding day forever.
